Present criminal writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying that a writ in the nature of habeas corpus be issued and Neetu, wife of the petitioner, be got released from the illegal custody of respondent No.5.
Counsel for the State on instructions from ASI Suresh Chander, Police Station Sarain Khowaja, District Faridabad, has submitted that respondent No.5 was informed regarding pendency of the case in this Court for today. According to Mr. Sharma, Neetu, the alleged detenue, has made a statement before police that she on her own accord had married respondent No.5. It is further submitted that Neetu and respondent No.5-Sandeep had sought protection to their lives from the Court of Ms.Anshu Shukla, Additional Sessions Judge, Faridabad and both of them have to cause appearance before that Court tomorrow.

Criminal Writ Petition No.2716 of 2011
In view of the statement made by counsel for the State, no further directions are called for. However, the petitioner, if so advised, may cause appearance before the Court of Additional Sessions Judge, Faridabad, wherein the petition filed for grant of protection is pending.
With the observations made above, present petition is
disposed of.
