Present criminal writ petition was filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of habeas corpus seeking release of 27 persons, particulars of whom have been given in para No.2 of the petition. It was stated that the alleged detenues are unlawfully detained at the brick kiln of respondent No.5.
On December 5, 2011, this Court had accepted the prayer of petitioner for appointment of a Warrant Officer. The Warrant Officer has stated in his report that all the detenues left the premises of brick kiln of respondent No.5 in a Truck bearing registration No.HR-63B-0554.
Since the alleged detenues have been released, no further directions are called for in this petition.
On December 9, 2011 the case was called thrice but nobody had caused appearance on behalf of the petitioner.

Today also, case has been called thrice, but nobody has appeared on behalf of the petitioner to controvert the report submitted by the Warrant Officer.
Hence, the present petition is dismissed in default.
