The petitioner/accused—Mannu alias Kumar Gaurav, has filed this petition under Section 438 of the Criminal Procedure Code for grant of anticipatory bail in FIR No. 49 dated 26.4.2011 registered under Sections 307, 323/149 and 148 IPC and Section 25 of the Arms Act, 1959 in Police Station Kartar Pur, District Jalandhar. He was granted interim anticipatory bail by this Court, vide order dated 1.11.2011.
It has been submitted by the learned State counsel that in pursuance of that order the petitioner has joined the investigation and is no more required for further investigation.
Under these circumstances, the order dated 1.11.2011 is hereby made absolute, subject to the conditions as envisaged by Section 438 (2) Cr.P.C.
The petition is disposed of accordingly.
