This petition under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure has been filed by Satnam Singh Nagra, petitioner, for the grant of anticipatory bail in FIR No. 183 dated 13.6.2011 registered under Sections 409, 465, 468, 471 and 120-B IPC and Section 13(2) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988, in Police Station Sadar, Patiala. He was allowed interim anticipatory bail by this Court on 17.10.2011 subject to the conditions contained in Section 438(2) Cr.P.C..
On instructions from Vasdev, ASI, it has been submitted by State counsel that the petitioner has since joined the investigation and is no more required for further investigation.
In these circumstances, the order dated 17.10.2011, is hereby made absolute. Petition is disposed of accordingly.
