The present petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed for issuance of directions to respondents No. 1 and 2 to hand over the investigation of case FIR No. 227, dated 6.7.2009 registered under Sections 419,420,467,468,471,120-B IPC at Police Station Mohindergarh to some independent agency.

Learned counsel for the petitioners contends that there were total six ladies, who impersonated the petitioners and their mother but no action has been taken against them. Learned counsel further contends that vide order dated 5.8.2010, SSP, Mohindergarh was directed to file his affidavit with regard to the steps taken by the police to trace out the aforesaid ladies. In response to the said order, an affidavit of SP, Mohindergah was filed but nothing except visiting the place, which comes in the disclosure statement of accused-Satbir, has been mentioned.

Learned counsel also submits that no active steps have been taken to trace out the ladies and the investigation has not been conducted properly. Learned counsel submits that the petitioners will be satisfied if the investigation of the case be handed over to some senior officer or some other agency like State Crime Branch.

Learned counsel for the respondent-State submits that the State has no objection if the investigation is handed officer to some senior officer or State Crime Branch.

In view of the statement made by learned counsel for the respondent-State, the present petition is disposed of with a direction that the investigation of the case FIR No. 227, dated 6.7.2009 registered under Sections 419,420,467,468,471,120-B IPC at Police Station Mohindergarh be handed over to DSP, State Crime Branch, Haryana and the same be completed within a period of three months.
