State counsel, on the instructions of ASI Malkiat Singh, informs that the petitioners have joined the investigation. It will be debatable whether the allegations in the alleged suicide note are sufficient to constitute offence of abetment as the petitioners do not seem to be related to deceased Varinder Kumar or to his wife with whom he has a matrimonial discord.
Accordingly, the petition is allowed and interim order dated 25.5.2011 is hereby confirmed and it is ordered that in case of arrest of the petitioners, they will be released on bail to the satisfaction of the arresting officer subject to the condition that the petitioners will join the investigation as and when required by the police and will not tamper with evidence or hamper the investigation.
