This is a petition for bail in a pending trial case registered vide FIR No.139 dated 21.12.2010 under Section 420 of the Indian Penal Code (for short ‘IPC’) at Police Station Bagha Purana, District Moga.
Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is in custody since 16.3.2011 and is neither a previous convict nor any other case is pending against him. He further submits that so far no prosecution witness has been examined.
Keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the case but without making any observation on merits, the present petition is allowed. The petitioner is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds to the satisfaction of the trial Court.
