This appeal has been preferred against order of learned Single Judge dismissing the writ petition of the appellant against process of selection being initiated afresh. 2. Case of the appellant is that she applied for the post of Anganwari worker and was duly selected by Village level committee. Still, selection process was initiated afresh. The appellant gave a legal notice challenging the said process to which reply was submitted to the effect that due publication to the vacancy having not been made earlier and there being no proper selection

process, it became necessary to initiate selection process again. It was also pointed out that that appellant was herself a member of Village Level Committee. The petitioner challenged the said stand by filing writ petition. 3. Learned Single Judge held that there was no error in fresh selection process being undertaken in the circumstances.

We have heard learned counsel for the appellant and perused the record.

In view of stand taken by the respondents in the reply Annexure P.5 that earlier selection process was not fair and proper, mere fact that the appellant was interviewed and claimed to have been selected (which fact was in dispute), was no ground to direct her appointment

by interfering with the fresh selection process.

We, thus, do not find any ground to interfere with

the view taken by learned Single Judge.

The appeal is dismissed.
