Mr.Brar has produced a copy of the order dated 29.06.2007 indicating that the petitioner has retired from service with effect from 30.06.2007.
In the writ petition, the petitioner claims his induction to HCS (Executive Branch). In view of the retirement of the petitioner, no relief can be granted to him.
Learned counsel has also tried to impress upon this Court that the appointment of respondent No.4 has been continued despite the fact that SLP filed by him has been dismissed. He has referred to the reply filed by the State. From the reply filed by Mr.PK Das, IAS,
CWP No.12779 of 1993 : 2 :
Joint Secretary to Government, Political and Service Department, Haryana, it appears that one Ashok Vashistha was a party in the SLP No.11470 of 1990. In the present petition respondent No.4 is Ashok Kumar Bishnoi. There is nothing on record to indicate that he is the same person.
In view of the above, the present writ petition is infructuous
and the same is dismissed of as such.
