Petitioner No.1 passed his 8^th and 9^th class from Air Force School, Ambala Cantt. in the years 1990 & 1991 respectively. The said school is recognized by the Central Board of Secondary Education. Petitioner no.2 passed her 8^th class examination from Govt. Middle School, Hoshiarpur and passed her 9^th class from Hargolal Girls Senior Secondary School, Ambala Cantt in the year 1992. Similarly petitioner no.3 appeared in the matriculation examination in the year 1992 but failed. Petitioners submitted their examination forms for appearing in the matriculation examination under the Board of School Education, Haryana at Bhiwani. Last date for submission of forms was 15.9.1992. Petitioners submitted their forms. They were informed in the year 1993 that they have not submitted their certificates of middle examination and thus, their forms have been cancelled. The petitioners represented and asked for permission to appear in the matriculation examination. Even then representations of the petitioners was rejected vide Annexure P-6 on the ground that the students

should be 14 years of age on 1^st March of the year of examination and should have passed middle examination from the Board of School Education Haryana and at least a gap of two years should be there. On that basis the petitioners' examination forms were rejected.

Vide interim order dated 15.3.1993 while admitting the writ petition, petitioners were permitted to appear in the examination on their own risk subject to the result of the writ petition. It is more than 16 years now. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners has no instructions.

In view of the interim order, this petition is disposed of with the observations that the permission to appear vide interim order shall stand regularized and if, the petitioners have passed their examinations, they should be issued necessary marks sheet and certificates etc.
