Though the allegations against the petitioner- lady are serious but in view of the fact that she has joined the investigation and has complied with the directions of the District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum, Hoshiarpur by transferring the amount of Rs.25,000/- towards the premium of the policy of the minor son of the complainant, her custodial interrogation does not seem to be necessary.
Accordingly, the petition is allowed and interim order dated 31.3.2010 is hereby confirmed and it is ordered that in case of arrest of the petitioner, she will be released on bail to the satisfaction of the arresting officer subject to the condition that the petitioner will join the investigation as and when required by the police and will not tamper with evidence or hamper the investigation.
