This is a petition under section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking a direction for entrustment of investigation of the case registered vide FIR No.156, dated 30.9.2010 under sections 302/307/379/427/148/149 IPC at police station Model Town, Hoshiarpur, to an independent agency outside the jurisdiction of district Hoshiarpur.
After arguing at some length, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that at this stage he shall be satisfied if a direction is issued to respondent No.3 to look into the grievance of the petitioner, who is complainant and author of the FIR. He has also referred to affidavit dated 16.11.2010 (Annexure P-6) to contend that petitioner wants to make a statement before the investigating agency in terms of the said affidavit.

In the above facts and circumstances of the case, it is directed that respondent No.3 may look into the grievance of the petitioner and take steps as deemed appropriate.
