This is a petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.95 dated 18.06.2010 registered at Police Station Sultanwind, District Amritsar under Sections 406/498-A IPC.
Learned counsel for the respondent-State, on instructions from ASI Nirmal Singh, states that the petitioner has since joined the investigation and is no more required by the police.
Accordingly, the present petition is allowed and the Order dated 15.09.2010 passed by this Court is made absolute.
