Learned State counsel, on instructions from Head Constable Gurmeet Singh, (present in court) submits that the petitioners have given their statements before the police that they do not require any police protection as they are living peacefully in village Saida Rahiana. He further submits that, if circumstances so warrant, necessary security shall be provided to them.
In view of above, learned counsel for the petitioners submits
that he may be allowed to withdraw the present petition at this stage.
Dismissed as withdrawn.
