The petitioner is working as Lecturer in Economics in Sri Guru
Hari Singh College, Sri Jiwan Nagar, District Sirsa. The dispute in this petition is with regard to the grant of selection grade. The petitioner has challenged the order dated 22.9.2005 (Annexure P-7), whereby the selection grade has been denied to him on the ground that he has not attended two Refresher courses in the subject of Economics. As per the respondents, the

petitioner has attended only one Refresher course in Economics. Though he has completed the second Refresher course in Business Management, but the same cannot be taken into consideration for the purpose of grant of selection grade against the post of Lecturer in Economics. Counsel for respondent No.3 University states that as and when the petitioner participates in the Refresher course in the subject of Economics, he would be considered for the grant of selection grade from the said date. It is also stated that as and when the University conducts the Refresher course in Economics, the petitioner through his college will be entitled to attend the same.
In view of the aforesaid stand, taken by counsel for respondent No.3 University, counsel for the petitioner states that he does not want to press this petition.
Dismissed as not pressed.
