On July 13, 2009, learned counsel for respondent Nos. 1, 2, 4 & 5 had stated that except the CPF and family pension, all the other benefits have been released to the petitioner. Regarding CPF, it was stated that the amount on that account will be paid to the petitioner within one month positively.
Counsel for respondent Nos.1, 2, 4 & 5 has stated that the amount of CPF has been paid to the petitioner. Regarding the family pension, it has been stated by him that all the pension papers of the petitioner have been sent to the E.P.F. Organisation.

Counsel for respondent No.3, who is representing the Regional E.P.F. Commissioner, is not present. However, it was stated by counsel for respondent No.3 on the last date of hearing that if the papers are sent to the office of respondent No.3, the family pension will be released to the petitioner within 15 days.
In view of these facts, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the Regional E.P.F Commissioner to release the family pension to the petitioner in accordance with law on receiving the papers sent by the employer to their office. Regarding the payment of interest, it will be open for the petitioner to make a representation to the concerned Department and the same will be considered by said Department.
