The petitioner has filed this petition for issuing direction to the respondents to regularise his services from the date his juniors were regularised i.e. 12.10.1989.
Concededly, the services of the petitioner were regularised in the year 1990. After more than 18 years, without explaining the delay, the petitioner has filed this petition. The only argument raised by counsel for the petitioner is that only recently, the petitioner came to know that his juniors have been promoted w.e.f. 12.10.1989, therefore, he has filed the instant petition. I do not find any force in this contention. The petitioner was very much aware of his regularisation and he was serving in the same department, where respondents No.3 and 4 were regularised on 12.10.1989.

It cannot be accepted now that the petitioner has recently come to know about this fact.
No merit.
