On instructions from Balwinder Singh, Assistant Sub Inspector, learned State Counsel informs that FIR No.163, dated 24.11.2005 (Annexure P-1), of which quashing has been sought by filing this petition, has been cancelled and the cancellation report has been submitted to the Ilaqa Magistrate who has not passed any order, as yet.
Learned counsel for respondent No.3-complainant submits that the complainant will lodge a protest petition. There being no bar, as per law in lodging the complaint, the complainant would be at liberty to do so.
Disposed of accordingly.
