In response to the notice issued, reply has been filed by Superintendent of Police (Traffic & Security), Bathinda, in court, in which it has been mentioned that as per the enquiry it was revealed that son of the petitioner was sent from Panchkula to Bathinda about one year back to work at the residence of respondent no. 5 where even the petitioner has also met him about five months back. From there as per the statement of respondent no. 5, son of the petitioner left the place of his own. For the incident DDR No. 9 was got recorded on 1.7.2009 at Police Station Panchkula and even an advertisement was also got published in the local newspaper on 4.7.2009 by him.
Considering the aforesaid facts, prima-facie, it cannot be opined that the son of the petitioner has been kept in illegal detention by respondent no. 5. However, still respondents no. 2 and 3 may make efforts to trace out the son of the petitioner.
The petition is disposed of.
