Rajni Devi and Anr. Vs State of Punjab and Ors.

Learned counsel for the petitioners contends that the petitioners are major and have married against the wishes of their parents. They have placed on record Annexures P-1 & P-2, as proof of their age and also marriage certificate, Annexure P-4. He further submits that a representation (Annexure P-5) was made to the Senior Superintendent of Police, Ludhiana bringing to his notice that the petitioners have married and feared threat to their life and liberty from respondents No.4 to 8.
