This order shall dispose of 19 appeals i.e. 667, 668, 669, 670, 672, 675, 676, 678, 679, 682, 684, 685, 688, 691, 693, 695, 696 and 700 of 2004 and cross objection No. 114-CI of 2006 and RFA No. 671 of 2004 which have arisen out of a common notification dated 3rd July, 1997 and a common award by Land Acquisition Collector, Chandigarh no. 531 dated 19th January, 2000 as well as against the award passed by the Additional District Judge, Chandigarh dated 1.10.2003.
Both the parties are ad idem that the present controversy is squrely covered by an earlier decision rendered by this Court in RFA No. 663 of 2004 decided on 2.8.2006 by Hon'ble Mr. Justice Ashutosh Mohunta and prayed that the aforesaid cases may be disposed of in terms of the decision referred to above.
In view of the stand taken by the counsel for the parties, all the aforesaid appeals as well as the cross objection are hereby disposed of in terms of the decision rendered in RFA No. 663 of 2004 titled as Union Territory, Chandigarh versus Sajjan Singh decided on 2.8.2006.
