Notification under Section 4 of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 ( for short,'the Act'), was issued on 5.6.1981 ,followed by Notification under Section 6 of the Act dated 17.8.1991, vide which land measuring 183 Kanals-15 marlas, situated at Mansa, was acquired for setting up of a Cooperative Spinning Mills.
The Land Acquisition Collector,Punjab, vide his award dated 27.11.1981,awarded compensation @ Rs.73,500/- per acre, which was enhanced to Rs.80,000/- per acres up to the depth of 50 karams by the learned Addl. District Judge, and for the rest of the land, the award given by the Collector was maintained.
