The petitioner has prayed for setting aside the charge-sheets as enumerated in Annexure P-2. Counsel for respondents states that the petitioner who was working as Assistant Grade III in the FCI was served with 15 separate charge-sheets, the details of which have been given in Annexure R-1. Counsel for the respondents states that after the conclusion of departmental proceedings the petitioner has the alternative remedy of filing appeal under the FCI Staff Regulations, 1971 and therefore, this writ petition is not maintainable.
After hearing counsel for the parties, we relegate the petitioner to seek his alternative remedy of filing appeal in case he has aggrieved by any order of punishment in the 15 cases which are the subject matter of this writ petition.
Writ petition disposed of.
