The petitioner has prayed that the selection of respondent No. 7-Jai Pal, driver made in the office of Secretary, Zila Parishad, Fatehgarh Sahib-respondent No. 6 be quashed.
Counsel for the State submits that Jai Pal respondent No. 7, who was engaged on daily wage basis, has been removed from service. She further submits that since at present there is no spare vehicle in the office of Secretary, Zila Parishad-respondent No. 6, as such there is no requirement of driver.
