Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner has already joined investigation. He further submits that two other accused in the FIR, namely, Randhir Singh and Kharak Singh, who were apprehended at the site of occurrence, have also been granted regular bail by the Court below. The counterfeit currency had already been recovered from the other accused and no recovery is to be effected from the petitioner. The factum of petitioner's joining investigation is not disputed by learned counsel for the State. However, he submits that custodial investigation of the petitioner is required. He further submits that the petitioner was not apprehended at the site of occurrence, his name was disclosed by his father Randhir Singh that he has run away from the spot.
After hearing learned counsel for the parties, I am of the view that the persons who had been arrested from the spot of the occurrence had already been granted regular bail and the petitioner has already joined investigation, let the interim bail granted to the petitioner be confirmed in terms of the conditions laid down in order dated 18.10.2007.
The petition stands disposed of.
