The petitioner apprehends arrest in connection with Alinagar P.S. Case No. 32 of 2025 instituted under Sections 137(2), 140(3) and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.

As per the prosecution case, two persons who were kidnapped had named the petitioner as one of the accused who took them to Nepal.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has not kidnapped anyone. Petitioner has clean antecedent.

Learned counsel for the informant as well as learned APP for the State have jointly opposed the prayer for

anticipatory bail of the petitioner.

Considering the aforesaid facts, this is not a fit

case for grant of anticipatory bail.

The petitioner is directed to surrender within two weeks from today and pray for regular bail, failing which the Superintendent of Police, Darbhanga will take all steps for arrest of the petitioner.
