REGULAR BAIL GRANTED. Bijuli Singh @ Vijali Singh, owner of the pick-up vehicle from which altogether 164 liters of country made liquor was recovered, sought regular bail in Bangara (N.H. Bangara) P.S. Case No. 126 of 2020 (Thana Bangara, District Samastipur), registered for offences under sections 272 and 273 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 30(a) and 41(i) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act. He contended he was innocent and falsely implicated, had no concern with the seized liquor, was not apprehended on the spot, had no criminal antecedent (stated in para-3 of the petition), and had been languishing in judicial custody since 09.11.2024. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned

APP for the State.

The petitioner has prayed for regular bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 272 and 273 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 30(a) and 41(i) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

The case of the prosecution is that altogether 164 liters of country made liquor was recovered from a pick-up vehicle.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. He has falsely been implicated in this case. Petitioner is the owner of the said pick-up vehicle but he has got no concern with the seized liquor and also he was not apprehended on the spot. A

statement has been made in para-3 of this petition that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent. Moreover, he is languishing in judicial custody since 09.11.2024.
