2. The petitioner has prayed for regular bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under section 303 (2) of the BNS.

3. The case of the prosecution is that a sum of Rs.1,40,000/- was stolen from the office of the informant by unknown miscreants.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in connection with the present case. It is further submitted that the FIR was lodged against unknown persons. During the Course of investigation, the petitioner was apprehended in connection with Barh P.S. Case No. 34 of 2025 wherein he is said to have given

his confessional statement, and on the basis of the said confessional statement, his name has surfaced in the present case. It is further submitted that nothing has been recovered from his physical possession. He has been framed in this case only on account of his antecedents, which are six in number. Moreover, the petitioner has been languishing in Judicial custody since 11.02.2025.

5. Learned APP appearing for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer of regular bail.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, this court is inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. The above named petitioner is directed to be released on bail in connection with Barh P.S. Case No. 740 of 2024 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned ACJM -1 Barh, Patna.
