the petitioner and Mr. Bhanu Pratap Singh, learned APP for the State.

2. Petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Garkha P.S. Case No. 268 of 2024 dated 11.05.2024 registered for the offence punishable under section 363 of the Indian Penal Code (in short ‘IPC’) and later on, section 366 of the IPC was added.

The main submissions advanced by the petitioner’s counsel are that the instant matter relates to disappearance of the informant’s daughter-in-law, though later, she was found at her naihar (parental house) and according to her, she was being blackmailed by this petitioner under the threat of her mother’s life but the said allegation is completely vague and further, as

per the story revealed by her, she was forced by this petitioner to come at some particular place where this petitioner and two other persons were present and thereafter, they sprinkled some material upon her, due to which she became unconscious and later, she regained her consciousness at her naihar and this last portion of her story is completely unbelievable as how she reached to her naihar, she did not disclose the fact nor did her father take any legal action when she arrived either unconscious or semi-conscious or conscious, if we believe her story. It is further submitted that the petitioner is 21 year old and also a neighbour of the victim’s father and he has been languishing in jail since 22.02.2025, having fair and clean antecedent and against him, the investigation has been completed. It is lastly submitted that the petitioner’s trial has not started up till now and his case is running for commitment on account of absconding of two co-accused persons.

4. Learned APP for the State has opposed the prayer of the petitioner.

5. Considering the aforesaid submissions and mainly the petitioner’s young age and completion of investigation against him, coupled with his custody period, this Court is inclined to release him on bail. Accordingly, let the petitioner

named-above be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/-(Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the court concerned in connection with Garkha P.S. Case No. 268 of 2024.
