2 . The present writ petition is filed for the following

“ …………...for issuance of a writ in the nature of a writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction to the Respondents especially Respondent No. 4 to pay the due amount of Rs.10,59,783/with interest of petitioner for the repair work of T/Well done by the petitioner in three Blocks namely Parwalpur Block, Ekangarsarai Block and Islampur Block

under Public Health Division, Hilsa, District- Nalanda in year 2020-21 as well as for other relief/s for which the petitioner is entitled in the facts and circumstances of the case.”

Without going into the merits or demerits of the case having regard to the facts that the petitioner has already made a representation dated 26.07.2023 (Anneaxure P/7) to the Executive Engineer, Public Health Division, Hilsa Division, District Nalanda (Respondent No. 4), the present writ petition is disposed of at the stage of admission with the consent of both the parties. The Respondent No. 4 is directed to consider the representation made by the petitioner as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. It is needless to mention that before passing any order the petitioner shall be given an opportunity of hearing. Any order passed shall be communicated to the petitioner. In case the claim made by the petitioner is found to be genuine, the Respondent No. 4 shall make necessary arrangement for payment of the admitted dues. In case the Respondent No. 4 comes to the conclusion that the claim made by the petitioner is liable to be rejected, he shall pass a reasoned orders giving the reasons for rejecting his claim.
