Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP for the State.
2 . The petitioner seeks regular bail in a case registered for the offence under Sections 392, 394 of the Indian Penal Code.
3 . The petitioner and other co-accused have committed loot and took away the vehicle. The petitioner was found in the vehicle when it met with an accident.
4 . Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case and the petitioner is in custody since 03.06.2023.
5 . Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.72517 of 2023(3) dt.27-02-2024 2/2
prayer for bail and has submitted that petitioner is accused in 16 more cases of serious and similar nature.
6 . Considering the criminal antecedents of the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. This application for regular bail is dismissed.
7 . The District Judge; Aurangabad, District Judge; Jehanabad, District Judge; Gaya and District Judge; Patna are directed to expedite the trial of all the cases registered against the petitioner which falls in their jurisdiction.
8 . Let a copy of this order be communicated to the District Judge; Aurangabad, District Judge; Jehanabad, District Judge; Gaya and District Judge; Patna through FAX for its compliance forthwith.
