The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Complaint Case No.124C of 2023 in which cognizance has been taken under Section 406 and 420 of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation against the petitioner to have taken Rs.50,70,000/- against sale of a piece of land from the complaint.

petitioner has submitted that petitioner has falsely been implicated in the present case. It is submitted that any amount has not been received by this petitioner from the complainant. It is submitted that the present dispute is purely civil in nature.

Learned APP appearing for the State, opposes the prayer for bail of the petitioner.

In view of the submissions, as made above, as it appears from perusal of the complaint petition that this is a case of cheating and criminal breach of trust of Rs.50,70,000/-, where, in this regard this petitioner has not taken any positive steps, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
