Heard learned counsel for the parties.

The petitioners have preferred this application for grant of anticipatory bail apprehending their arrest in connection with Dhoraiya P.S. Case no. 185 of 2023, registered under sections 302, 304B and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the prosecution case, the informant states that he married his daughter to one Ranjan Kumar Manjhi on 9.7.2022. It is stated that the accused persons started to torture his daughter for non-fulfillment of the demand of dowry by way of a motorcycle and Rs.50,000/- in cash. It is finally stated that her husband and other members of family including the

petitioner no.2 killed her. In the occurrence, the petitioner no.1 is also involved.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are the sister-in-law ( gotni) and mother-in-law of the deceased. They have been falsely implicated in the case. Admittedly, the father of the deceased is not an eye witness to the occurrence. So far as husband of the deceased is concerned, in reference to the supplementary affidavit filed, it is submitted that he has surrendered in the learned Court below on 4.7.2024 and is in custody. The petitioners have no criminal antecedent.

The application for anticipatory bail is opposed by learned A.P.P. for the State.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the general and omnibus allegation in the F.I.R., the petitioners not having any criminal antecedent and the husband of the deceased being in custody having surrendered on 4.7.2024, it is directed that both the petitioners, above named, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of four weeks, be released on anticipatory bail in connection with Dhoraiya P.S. Case no. 185 of 2023 on each of them furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount
