The limited prayer of the petitioner in the present case
is to direct the District Magistrate, Sitamarhi to decide the application of the petitioner for grant of arms license which was filed on 02.04.2021.
The Learned counsel for the respondent-State submits that in case the application of the petitioner for grant of arms license is still pending, the same shall be decided within a fixed time frame.
Accordingly, the present writ petition stands disposed off with a direction to the District Magistrate, Sitamarhi to dispose off the aforesaid application of the petitioner for grant of arms license, if not already disposed off, within a period of eight weeks of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
