The matter has been listed on a motion slip filed by the learned counsel for the petitioner seeking disposal of the writ application for enabling the Authorities to consider representation made for compassionate appointment which are Annexures-8, 9 and 10 of the writ petition dated 17.09.2021, 21.10.2021 and 27.12.2021.
The limited prayer of learned counsel for the petitioner is disposal of the petitioner’s representation/s claiming compassionate appointment, therefore, pendency of the writ petition would be futile and serve no useful purpose.
Learned counsel for the respondent-Corporation submits that, in view of the limited submission advanced on

behalf of the petitioner, he cannot resist the fact that the petitioner’s application is required to be considered, but in accordance with law.
The respondent no.2 should consider the petitioner’s representation/s and pass appropriate orders, in accordance with law, within 8 weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
Writ petition is disposed of.
