Petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 147, 341, 323, 324 & 498(A) of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation against petitioner and other co-accused is of torturing and assaulting the daughter of informant for nonfulfillment of demand of dowry.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that he is the husband of daughter of informant and has been falsely implicated in this case. It has been further submitted that

petitioner is ready to give maintenance of Rs. 2000/- per month to the informant as interim maintenance. The allegation of demand of dowry of Rs. 1 lacs is false and concocted. Petitioner is ready to keep his wife with dignity but she is not willing to reside with petitioner. There is case and counter case. It has been further submitted that injury found is stated to be simple in nature. Petitioner has no criminal antecedent.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner named above be released on anticipatory bail, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned court below where the case is pending in connection with Chapra Town P.S. Case No. 266 of 2018, subject to the condition as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C with following conditions:-

The petitioner is directed to pay an amount of Rs. 2,000/- per month to the informant as maintenance to be paid by 10^th of every month commencing from February 2022 and if the petitioner fails to pay maintenance of Rs. 2,000/- per month for two consecutive months the bail bond of petitioner shall be cancelled by court below. The above arrangement will remain
