Heard counsel for the parties.
The petitioner is in judicial custody in connection with Falka (Pothia) P.S. Case No.188 of 2019 (G.R. No.2544 of 2019) lodged on 08.06.2019 under Section 392 of the Indian Penal Code.
As per the prosecution case, when the informant was returning from Kishanganj towards his village, a motorcycle with two unknown persons overtook and intercepted him and after giving a fist blow on his face, snatched his valuables and fled away towards Dumar village. The informant was able to read the registration number of the motorcycle which is part of the FIR.
This Court has gone through the para-3 of the bail application which shows that the petitioner is an accused in one dozen cases most of which are under Section 392 of the Indian
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.53870 of 2021(2) dt.07-04-2022 2/2
Penal Code.
Considering the gravity of the allegation as also the fact that the petitioner is a habitual offender, this Court is not inclined to grant any relief to him.
The bail application is accordingly rejected.
The Trial court is directed to conclude the trial
expeditiously.
