Heard learned counsel for the petitioners, learned counsel for the informant and learned A.P.P. for the State.

The petitioners have preferred this application for grant of regular bail in a case registered u/s 341, 323, 324, 504, 506 and 307 read with 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the prosecution case, the petitioners and coaccused persons armed with sword, katta, lathi, danda and rod in connivance with one another came for settlement of an earlier case but started abusing and co-accused Dhiraj Singh and the

petitioner No.2 Bikki Singh inflicted blow of sword on the head of the informant indiscriminately causing severe injuries. Coaccused Raushan Singh also started assaulting him with the butt of the katta. When Krishnkant Singh and Amresh Singh came to rescue, they were also assaulted by them.

Learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that the petitioners are innocent and have falsely been implicated in this case. The petitioners have clean antecedent as stated in para 3 of the bail petition. There is general and omnibus allegation against the petitioners. Injuries are stated to be simple in nature. The petitioners are in custody since 27.02.2022.

Learned A.P.P. for the State and learned counsel for the informant have vehemently opposed the bail petition of the petitioners by submitting that there is specific allegation against the petitioners of inflicting blow of sword on the head of the informant.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case as well as the simple nature of injuries, the petitioners are directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned concerned
