The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Special Case No. 2 of 2019 arising out of RC Case No. 9/A/18 was registered against unknown for offences under Sections 120(B) r/w 409, 420, 467, 468, 471 of the Indian Penal Code and section 13(2) r/w 13(1)(c) and 13(1)(d) of the Prevention of Corruption Act.

It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case merely on suspicion. Petitioner at the relevant time was Branch Manager of Bank of Baroda and no specific allegation has been made against this petitioner. Trial is not likely to be taken up in near future. Petitioner is in custody since 14.08.2019

and has been remanded in this case on 06.09.2019. Chargesheet has already been submitted. Similarly situated co-accused have been granted bail by this Court vide order dated 10.11.2020 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 24981 of 2020.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner above-named, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge CBI -II, Patna in connection with Special Case No. 2 of 2019 arising out of RC Case No. 9/A/18.
