The petitioner seeks a limited relief in the present writ application. He submits that Case No.836 of 2014, which is a proceeding under Section 147 Cr.P.C., has not yet been

concluded, resulting in total miscarriage of justice. He further submits that appropriate direction be issued for disposal of the same.

It appears from the counter affidavit filed by the respondents that the pleadings of the aforementioned Case No.836 of 2014 are complete before the S.D.M, Pupri. As such, it would be appropriate and in the interest of justice that the S.D.M., Pupri takes necessary steps to proceed on day to day basis and conclude the same positively within a period of three months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.

Learned counsel for the State submits that necessary direction will enable the proceedings to be concluded.

This Court thus directs that the petitioner shall appear before the S.D.M., Pupri, with a copy of this order, on or before the 01^st of February, 2020 and from the said date, within a period of three months, the proceeding bearing Case No.836 of 2014 shall be disposed of by the concerned officer.
