The petitioners seek pre-arrest bail in connection with Baisi P.S. Case No. 278 of 2018 registered under Sections 147, 341, 384 and 504 of the Indian Penal Code.

The accusation is that while informant, Sajjad Alam,

was ploughing his field through tractor, at that time, petitioners reached there, armed with lathi, stick and sword, and started to abuse and made ob struction in ploughing the field and made demand of ransom of rupees two lakh to allow him to plough the field.

Submission is that while the occurrence is said to be

of 04.11.2018, but, the present case was lodged after thirty days. In fact, there is land dispute between the informant and the petitioners and due to that reason, the informant has lodged the present case with false allegation.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioners, above named, in the event of surrender/arrest, within a period of four weeks from today, in connection with Baisi P.S. Case No. 278 of 2018 shall be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Purnea, or the successor Court subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) Criminal Procedure Code.
