Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel
appearing on behalf of the State.
The issue with regard to appointment of 34540 Assistant Teachers in the Elementary Schools in the State of Bihar has a chequered history. After several rounds of litigation, the respondent- Staff Selection Commission has invited objections for consideration of the case of the eligible candidates for appointment against left over vacancies. The last date for submission of objection has expired and after the expiry of the last

date, the court is unable to extend the time of entertaining objection.
Under the aforesaid circumstances, the court does not find
any merit in the present writ petition.
The writ petition being devoid of any merit, stands dismissed.
