2 27-02-2018 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and counsel appearing for the State.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that for redressal of his grievance, the petitioner has filed representation before the Registrar of the university. He submits that the writ application may be disposed of with direction to the Registrar of the university to take final decision on the representation filed by the petitioner for grant of ACP and MACP. Counsel appearing for university submits that the matter requires verification of the relevant records and university may be granted some time so that the relevant documents may be examined and appropriate order in this regard

will be passed.

Considering the aforesaid, this writ application is disposed of with direction to the Registrar of the university to take final decision on the representation as contained in Annexure-5 and in case, the Registrar finds substance in the case of the petitioner for grant of ACP and MACP, the appropriate order in this regard may be passed within a maximum period of three months from the date of receipt/production of copy of the order.

It is needless to say that if the petitioner is found entitled to grant of such relief, necessary order granting him consequential benefits will be passed within a further period of one month thereafter.
