The present writ petition has been filed for the following

“(I) That the present writ application is being filed in the nature of Mandamus to release the subsidy amount of Rs. (Rs. 5,83,000.00 – 2,91,300.00 = 2,91,700/-)of Gramin Yojna Scheme which has been applied by the petitioner in the year 2014, on the ground that the petitioner has constructed the Godown in rural area and has taken term loan of Rs. 15 lacs but the subsidy amount has not been paid as mentioned above till date;

(II) That the present writ application is filed in the nature of Mandamus to the NABARD Office specially the Regional General Manager, Patna division to pay the money of subsidy with interest at the rate of 18% as the same has

been taken by the petitioner on loan by the petitioner from Punjab National Bank;

(III) For any other relief/reliefs for which the petitioner is entitled for.”

At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it will suffice if the petitioner’s representation (Annexure-8) filed before the Assistant General Manager, NABARD, Bihar Regional Office, Mauryalok Complex, Dak Bunglow Road, Patna (Respondent No. 1) is directed to be disposed of, in which event, the present writ petition need not be pressed on merits.

Having regard to the nature of the grievances and the stand of the petitioner, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the Assistant General Manager, NABARD, Bihar Regional Office, Mauryalok Complex, Dak Bunglow Road, Patna (Respondent No. 1) to consider and dispose of the petitioner’s representation (Annexure-8), if the same is pending before him, after grant of opportunity of hearing to the petitioner in accordance with law expeditiously and preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this judgment.
