Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned
counsel for the State.
The petitioner seeks bail in Bachhwara P.S. Case No. 15 of 2018 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 8/20(c)/25 of the NDPS Act.
It has been submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has been falsely implicated in this case. Petitioner has got no criminal antecedent.
However, considering the allegation against the petitioner that 1126 Kg of Ganja has been recovered from his possession, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Hence, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is hereby rejected.
However, the trial court is directed to expedite the trial of the petitioner and conclude the same within a period of
