The petitioner seeks bail in a criminal prosecution registered under Sections 302/120(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code as also under section 3(1)(x) of the S.C./S.T. (Prevention of Atrocities) Act. Taking into consideration the fact that the petitioner is not named in the first information report vide Annexure-1, as an accused, though, two persons have been specifically named there in the FIR as accused and further taking into consideration the period of incarceration already undergone by the petitioner since 22.05.2015, i.e, more than one year, this Court is inclined to accede to the prayer made on behalf of the petitioner for grant of bail.
