The petitioner is apprehending arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under sections 313,314,315,493,420 and 120B of the Indian Penal Code.
The accusation of establishing physical relationship with the informant on promise of marriage and subsequently getting the pregnancy of the informant terminated but ultimately the petitioner did not marry with the informant.
It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner was residing abroad and since the informant is agnate of the petitioner, the present case has been lodged to extort money from the petitioner.
