The present application has been filed for quashing the FIR of Purnea Sadar P.S. Case no. 524 of 2013 registered for the offences punishable under sections 7 of the E.C. Act. Considering the nature of accusation, this court is not inclined to interfere with the statutory duty of the police to investigate a cognizable offence.
This application is disposed of with a liberty to the petitioner to raise all the contentions at the appropriate stage.
