JUSTICE AHSANUDDIN AMANULLAH ORAL ORDER 4. 11-07-2014 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned A.P.P. for the State and learned counsel for the informant, who has suo motu appeared. The petitioner seeks bail in Mokama P.S. Case No. 174 of 2000 dated 23.10.2000 instituted for offence punishable under Sections 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code and 27 of The Arms Act, 1959.
Learned counsel for the informant submits that all the prosecution witnesses have been examined except for the Investigating Officer whose cross-examination is also in progress.
In that view of the matter, this Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the application stands dismissed.
However, the Court below shall ensure that the prosecution evidence is closed within one month. The

Senior Superintendent of Police, Patna is directed to ensure that all remaining prosecution witnesses, if any, shall be examined within a period of one month on the dates fixed by the Court.
