This petitioner and one Ramadhar Rai were named as accused of the case which has been registered under Sections 414, 411, 489A, 489B, 489C of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3/4 of the F.E.R.A. Act. It has been alleged by the officer-in-charge of Kundwa Chainpur police station that he found this petitioner and Ramadhar Rai crossing Nepal boarder and on suspicion they were apprehended on search and from possession of Ramadhar Rai Rs. 1,10,000/- Nepali currency and from possession of this petitioner Rs. 1,00,000/- Nepali currency was recovered.
